Max Price - Singer-Songwriter
I’m Max Price - a singer-songwriter creating emotionally honest music rooted in personal insight, identity, and lived experience. As a queer, neurodivergent artist, my songs often explore themes of love, identity, resilience, and the patterns we carry in relationships.
My sound sits somewhere between pop and folk-country, with a strong emphasis on lyric-led acoustic storytelling. I’m drawn to writing songs that feel intimate, reflective, and quietly powerful.
I began performing at a young age, including early gigs at venues like the Jam House in Birmingham, where I developed a love for live performance and connecting with audiences through story and song.
While my music doesn’t shy away from difficult or complex themes - particularly those affecting marginalised communities - at its heart, it’s about empowerment, self-acceptance, and finding clarity through honesty.
Alongside releasing my own music, I also support others through creativity coaching and workshops. This work focuses on helping people reconnect with their voice - whether through songwriting, singing, or creative self-expression - in a way that’s gentle, affirming, and confidence-building.
I’m also interested in collaborating with other artists and exploring opportunities to place my songs in film, TV, and other media. I’m particularly drawn to projects that value emotional depth, authenticity, and strong storytelling.
I’m in the process of recording my debut album, made up of songs that have grown slowly and honestly over time.
I’ve launched a GoFundMe to help cover recording, production, and release costs. Any support or sharing is deeply appreciated.

Writing, Collaboration & Sync
I’m open to songwriting collaborations, co-writes, and opportunities to write for other artists, as well as sync placements for film, TV, and digital media.
I love writing songs that live beyond my own voice — supporting another artist’s story, or finding a home alongside visual storytelling. My writing tends to be emotionally driven, melodic, and reflective, often exploring themes of vulnerability, change, and self-understanding.
Whether you’re an artist looking for songs, a producer seeking a collaborator, or a music supervisor searching for authentic, intimate music, I’m always happy to connect.
Where My Songs Tend to Fit
My songs often suit:
Intimate or reflective scenes
Emotional turning points
Quiet, story-led moments
Acoustic or stripped-back soundscapes
Character-driven narratives
I’m particularly drawn to projects that value emotional honesty and subtlety over high gloss.

Finding your voice - gently, honestly, without judgement
I’ve been writing lyrics for as long as I can remember. Like many creatives, I learned early on to doubt myself - to question whether my voice mattered or whether what I was making was “good enough”.
For a long time, that doubt kept me silent.
Coming back to music later in life has been a process of unlearning — letting go of perfectionism, quietening the inner critic, and learning to trust my voice again. That journey has shaped how I support others.
I work with people who want to create, but feel stuck, hesitant, or disconnected from their creativity.
Not to “be the best”.
Not to prove anything.
But to make space for what’s already there.
How I work
My approach is gentle, affirming, and led by curiosity rather than pressure.
Together, we focus on:
easing self-doubt and perfectionism
reconnecting with your creative instincts
exploring songwriting, lyric writing, or voice in a way that feels safe and honest
building confidence through small, meaningful steps
This work is about permission - giving yourself space to explore without judgement.
